The cigar industry is probably one of the most definitive proofs of market-driven quality control, labor compensation, community development, and pride in a job well done. Government only unnecessarily complicates market-driven self-regulated industry. From this industry, so much can be learned about quality and market demand.

There is a video made by Davidoff which can clear up MANY incorrect assumptions/beliefs of cigar smoking, as well as very thoroughly explain the entire process from harvesting seeds through planting, stripping, curing, fermenting, aging, rolling, and packaging cigars.
