Music Background
From the very first Rock-N-Roll I ever heard (Grand Funk Railroad)
to the amazing Christian music scene, there are too many fantastic
musical pieces to share, but on this page I intend to put a few of
my absolute favorites.
 Deen Castronovo,
the drummer for
Journey has an incredible
soaring tenor voice. After Steve Perry was no longer with Journey,
and in between Perry-replacement performers, Deen sometimes was
the "singer" for Journey in addition to being the incredible
drummer for the band. He often still sings
"Mother, Father"
for the band, and in fact, I believe that Deen Castronovo is probably the
best "singing drummer" of all time!

 One
of the most interesting things I ever saw was a totally acapella
version of Hotel California by the Cubanos and was mesmerized by
how much these performers' vocal sounds perfectly mimicked the
musical instruments in the Eagles's Hotel California.

I have a few items posted on my

those can be seen here. These
include two bag-pipes-only performances by Ally (Freebird and also
of Crazy Train), as well as a couple of "big band" performances,
and a few other favorite items.
 The
bag-pipe performances are truly unique items and Ally with her
bag-pipes and Mia with her violin that looks like a
shoulder-mounted guitar provide stunningly faithful bag-pipe and
violin performances of Lynyrd Skynyrd's FREEBIRD.
