THEME DAY of Arturo Fuente
Having now finished the 38 theme weeks which I wrapped up with the GRAND FINALE Parts 1 (https://gab.com/jdburney1/posts/114517491571962096 ) & 2 (https://gab.com/jdburney1/posts/114517502084368032 ) I thought I would have a 'theme day' to pay tribute to my overall favorite manufacturer of premium and super-premium cigars: Arturo Fuente.

I have more AF products than any other manufacturers in my humidors, consisting of over 15 different labels and sizes representing nearly 20% of my entire stock of premium cigars. Thus I finished with a Destino al Siglo de Amistad... "Destiny of the Century, of Friendship".

- (1) Fuente Gran AniverXario Destino al Siglo (extremely rare)

The Gran AniverXario Destino al Siglo. The name "Destino al Siglo" translates to "Destiny of the Century". It was the name used for Arturo Fuente to celebrate the company's 100th anniversary (in 2012). "Amistad" translates to "Friendship".

The Gran AniverXario Destino al Siglo (with the size of this particular cigar noted as "de Amistad") is beautifully packaged in a cedar box shaped to resemble a book. Emblazoned on the top of the box is the 'book' title Destino al Siglo and on the bottom right of the 'cover' is the engraving "Arturo Fuente Autor" making the patriarch the 'author' of this 'book' of the amazing 100+ year history of the Arturo Fuente cigar manufacturer.

When one opens the 'book', the 'title page' on the interior lid of the box has the 'sub-title' The Fuente Story, Passion behind the tradition and legacy. The 'pages' are 13 beautiful, ornately labeled cigars and in this particular 'book' those 'pages' are engraved as "Siglo de Amistad" ("Century of Friendship").

The presentation is spectacular and the cigars are delightful to smoke (rated 93 by Cigar Aficionado here = https://www.cigaraficionado.com/ratings/17938/name/arturo-fuente-gran-aniverxario-destino-al-siglo-de-amistad-robusto ). These cigars are extremely rare with only a few retailers in the whole world ever having the opportunity to acquire any for their inventory (when they are available, the Cigar Country online seller in the Dominican Republic usually has them here = https://cigarcountry.com/brand/arturo-fuente-cigars/arturo-fuente-destino-al-siglo/ ). These cigars are so rarely produced (and only in extremely limited quantities), so one must keep checking to see whether a box may be available, and if found, don't hesitate for they are bought up almost as quickly as they are posted as available.
