Examination and
Analysis
In Plato's Apology, Socrates on
trial stated:
The life which is unexamined is not worth living.
The Apostle Peter wrote in 1
Peter 3:15:
Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone
who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But
do this with gentleness and respect.
These statements are true for
anyone regarding any religious, political, or personal views
held.
Therefore I have made this page,
and the linked items below, to provide an answer, both as to why
I am a Christian and as to why I cannot accept the metaphysical
teachings of various other religions, though when extant within
them, I recognize an element of wisdom and truth.
Each linked item is a complete
response, sufficient in my mind for the stand I take.
