The Boys: Crawford & Geddy
Tennessee
Treeing Brindles
While
living in east Tennessee in the summer of 2019, near the North
Carolina border, Hannah and Billy found two extremely young dogs
in the wooded grassy area near their home. Apparently, they had
been born in the wild or abandoned.
With
no one seeking them, Hannah and Billy decided to add a fenced area
to their home, and asked me to keep them for a few weeks until
they could properly secure the boys in a safe place.
I kept them with my dogs for a
number of weeks and eventually gave them to Hannah and Billy when
they were ready for the dogs.
But
not long after, Hannah and Billy decided to move but didn't want
the dogs any more so they gave the dogs away and I never saw them
again.
These little boys were amazing and
loving and playful, curious about everything, and I was sure they
would grow up to be loving and trustworthy dogs who would
safeguard my daughter's children in the woods of east Tennessee
and would be loving lifetime companions to my granddaughters.
But with them being given away, I
can only hope that they have a loving "forever home" with their
new owners.
