As individuals we often find that this is not a high priority item, or that we think (or have been taught to think) that this is a woman's privacy issue, or __fill-in-the-blank__.

I know for myself, that long ago I did not care about this issue. I had never really thought about it in detail nor considered the moral or philosophical questions associated with this practice. At that time, I just didn't care about it.

I had been taught (mostly by the public school system and a deceptive media) that it was a woman's right, as affirmed in a US Supreme Court case (Roe v. Wade, click here for the full text of this decision). I was one of those who heard the lie for so long that I accepted it as fact.

But then something happened... a transforming moment in my life. There was a day when my wife (at that time) told me she was pregnant with our first child.

I was so excited and we almost immediately rushed to the bookstore to find some resources to explain to us what to expect during this miracle of creating life.

As I looked at the photos in the book, I realized that even before my wife knew she was pregnant, our child already had fingers and toes, a beating heart, brainwaves, and could feel pain.

Our child was playing, kicking, and flipping in my wife's womb even before she could perceive the presence of this new life.

I looked intently at the photos in the book and suddenly was struck with this clear fact:

A child was formed in the womb and before we knew my wife was pregnant, this child was alive playing, having a beating heart and active mind.

That moment was an epiphany for me. Looking at those photos, I realized that abortion was in fact the murder of defenseless children whose protective sanctuary, the womb, is violated to become their tomb.

It was then that I became "PRO-LIFE". I understand that for this moment in time, abortion is legal in this nation, and I understand that women are trying to make a very difficult decision in whether to abort, yet I also understand that the child is in fact alive and is innocent.

For me, now the question has become: Is it ever right to perform an abortion? This has become so politicized that it is impossible to have a conversation with polarized individuals. So, let me detail two true postulates:

1. Life begins at conception and a child with a beating heart, an active mind, and a functioning body is growing in the womb.

2. That child is innocent of any crime or sin.

With these irrefutable truths, is there ever a time that abortion can be justified? The typical exceptions that seem to be "reasonable" are for the "life of the mother" or for "rape or incest". I have written a column devoted to this topic on my page detailing the Roe v. Wade decision.

Every year, between 1 and 1.5 million children are killed in the United States of America. Of these, only an infinitesimal number are for either "the health of the mother" or for "rape/incest". In fact, 99.99% are simply elective!

This is a tragedy of Biblical proportions.

Consider the "for profit" nature of this business. At $500 each, 1 million abortions means this is at a minimum a 500 MILLION DOLLAR industry. In the years subsequent to the Roe decision, we have performed 65 million abortions in this nation... equaling 28 BILLION DOLLARS !!! (As of the year 2015)

This is all about making money for the abortionists. They do not care that children are killed and women are emotionally scarred for the rest of their lives.

As a nation, we must end this tragedy.

What God Says About Children and The Unborn

Judeo-Christian Scripture clearly states that not only are children a blessing of God, but also, the premature delivery of a child is an event that, depending on the survival of the child, must be punished in equal severity to injury to the child.

Children are a reward from the Lord -- Psalm 127:3

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. -- Jeremiah 1:5

If men who are fighting hit a pregnant woman and she gives birth prematurely but there is no serious injury, the offender must be fined whatever the woman's husband demands and the court allows. But if there is serious injury, you are to take life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise. -- Exodus 21:22-25

"On Demand" as Opposed to
"Health of the Mother" and "Rape or Incest"

What is the consequence of the US Supreme Court decision in 1973? Despite Chief Justice Burger's comments that the Constitution does not require abortion "on demand", the reality is that with the Roe decision, an "on demand" insistence has resulted, and is in fact vehemently defended by the champions of abortion rights.

Why is this? I have thoroughly explained the cause for this insistence on more and more abortions on the right hand column of this section ("Feminist and Pro-choice Outrage"). Here is an excerpt:

You see, "on demand" is necessary to those shrill champions of this so-called freedom to kill children. Any limits on a "woman's right to choose" are viewed as intolerable because--and listen carefully to this--if abortion is wrong in any circumstance, then it is the murder of a child, as conservatives and religious people have claimed all along. This is of utmost importance. Think carefully about this point. I will repeat it here:

You see, it must be "on demand" for these people to continue the self-deception that they have not killed their own children and they are not promoting the killing of children. To admit otherwise is to court oblivion.

So, if "on demand" is the objective, why all the continuous debates about the "health of the mother" or in cases of  "rape and incest"? MISDIRECTION

This is why the best magicians wow their audiences. A master of misdirection is one who can change our focus to a point of minutia while relegating the real point to obscurity. You see, with "on demand" being the primary objective, these psychotic individuals deceive the populace with a divisive debate over what amounts to 0.01% of the abortions performed.

How many times annually is an abortion truly necessary to save the life of the mother? How many times annually is a rape or incest victim impregnated? Every year, between 1 and 1.5 million children are killed through an abortion procedure in the United States of America. Of these, 99.99% are absolutely ELECTIVE! This is an epidemic of murder.

Yet the debate rages, as intended by the evil promoters of this scourge, regarding only an infinitesimal number of abortions associated with either "the health of the mother" or for "rape/incest".

In the case of the health of the mother, the decision is between the lesser of two evils: the death of the mother or the death of the unborn child. In this situation, the mother's life should be protected, in my opinion, though even some people would debate this. My answer puts the child in God's arms so that the mother can continue to care for her existing family.

In the case of a "rape or incest" scenario, the decision is between the death of the unborn child and the revenge of the impregnated woman against her rapist. In this situation, the child's life should be protected, in my opinion, and if the mother cannot bear to care for her child, then alternative solutions exist (such as offering up the child for adoption) and can be pursued. To kill the child is to advance another evil upon the face of the Earth subsequent to the evil imposed on the woman which resulted in pregnancy in the first place.

This inevitably will result in an angry response by those promoters of the chaos claiming that I would impose my values on what should be a personal choice for a woman whose life is in danger by her pregnancy or whose pregnancy was imposed on her by a rapist or incestuous relative. This is a lie -- a perversion of the real issue -- it is in fact: MISDIRECTION

You see, 1 to 1.5 million annual abortions have NOTHING AT ALL TO DO with "health of the mother" or "rape/incest". The rage vented by these agents of chaos and death is simply misdirection toward a nearly-non-existent problem. This is the unfortunate truth. And because of this insanity, it is impossible for logical people to communicate with these harbingers of death.

We should not be afraid to face the reality of this
matter. Anyone who is upset by this and yet still
advocates FOR abortion is intellectually bankrupt.

The Tragic Reality

By the time a woman learns she is pregnant,
this is what is growing in her womb. The child
has a beating heart, brain waves, and can feel
pain. It moves, kicks, and plays in the womb.
It already has fingers, toes, internal organs,
including intestines. It is simply a miniature
and totally defenseless human being.

By the time she can schedule an abortion
(assuming it can be done very soon after
learning she is pregnant), this is the result.
Fingers and toes are already visible at this time.

All the genetic material must be removed
or the woman runs the risk of developing
sepsis which is a life-threatening illness.

Later stages of pregnancy show even more
maturation of the child/fetus within the womb.
