| Josephus was the
Roman Historian for Jewish documentation and he wrote a
number of books. While there is some disagreement in
attributing certain works to Josephus, the two core books
of the Antiquities of the Jews and the
Wars of the Jews are clearly properly attributed
to him. A very interesting
fact is that in The Wars of the Jews, Book
IV, Chapter 8, Section 4, Josephus clearly indicates that
in his time, 2,000 years after the event, the ruins of
Sodom are clearly visible. I have included a discussion of
